Tips for a safer home or business…

Security cameras are a great deterrence for criminal activity. Most crimes are “crimes of opportunity,” meaning the perpetrator saw an opportunity and took it. If two houses otherwise look exactly the same, a perpetrator may be more likely to target the house without security cameras. Cameras also help law enforcement identify suspects if you do fall victim to a crime!
Make sure the serial numbers on all your valuable items such as tools, electronics, and firearms are recorded somewhere. You can also take a picture of the serial number with your phone.
A well-lit home is less attractive as a target. Consider a security camera which has built in floodlights. We also sell solar-powered floodlights to light up any area.
Even if you live in the country, lock your doors! We’ve seen a number of cases where a perpetrator chooses a location just because the doors were unlocked. This includes your car doors!
